Why Not… Wednesday :)

Happy Wednesday! Today we are going to attempt to make an ally with Disney’s media relations. Erin Felentzer is the VP of Media Relations for ABC Entertainment Group.

Below is a sample message. Feel free to use it as-is or tweak to your liking. Once again we need to be extremely nice. We are asking for her support.

Dear Erin,

Hello. I am sure that you are aware at the numerous media articles circulating the Internet, magazines, and newspapers regarding Disney’s decisions regarding ABC Daytime. This has started to cast doubt on Disney’s other ventures and created boycotts by some groups regarding anything Disney related. All eyes are now on Disney as they are most likely getting the rights back to All My Children and One Life to Live in the near future. We know that Disney does not see these shows as a part of ABC’s Daytime lineup. The soap viewers are flexible and just want these shows resurrected in some capacity somewhere. Disney has many networks, partnerships, and connections. The soap viewers would really appreciate your support should you be involved in any discussions regarding “what to do with the soaps.” There is a win-win solution out there that will allow all involved to move on. Hopefully it can get identified soon.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
