Twas the Night Before New Years

Posted on: December 31, 2011

twas the night before new years, and all across the land,
Soap fans were mourning their soaps that were canned.

Their hearts were breaking, their morale  so low,
still hoping agaisnt hope, a savior would show.

Someone with vision, and money to boot,
who loves these two shows and isnt a kook.

Some one who loves them, and treasures the art,
not a money hungry mongor, nor a grumpy ole fart.

As the ball drops, so do their heads,
as hundreds of thousands
of voices unite with just this one thing  said…

so please save our shows
on this joyous night.

So gather round soap fans,
and unite our wishes..
they will see that our hope  never
