UPDATE FROM 7/17
Posted July 15, 2011on:
Ok everyone there are still MANY questions unanswered out there and we are working hard behind the scenes to get answers to you. What we can tell you is this: the actors have not yet been contacted about there being interest in contracting them for the online version as of yet. This is leaving the actors to think about whether they will be asked, if they would want to stay with the show, or should they move. Some are actively looking for other roles. We are in contact with some of the actors directly and many more of their agents and managers. Right now we need to be supporting our actors and encouraging them to stay with the show. After all it won’t matter where the shows air or don’t air if none of the cast sign on to continue. Thus it is CRUCIAL that anyone playing both sides of the fence stop. We need to SUPPORT our actors by supporting Prospect Park. This means not contacting Disney to try to undermine the deal. We need to be sharing our gratitude along with wishes/questions to Prospect Park, asking advertisers to advertise once it moves online, and shower the actors with continual pleas and wishes that they stick with the shows as we have as loyal viewers. Do you have a few favorite actors from All My Children that you would like to see continue with the show? Make sure that in your emails to Prospect Park you include that information. Right now is the time to focus on All My Children’s actors as that is the first set of negotiations to get set.
